Pair sensors for RF sensor control

Nexus interface

Pairing sensors

1. Carefully remove the sensor cover using a small flathead screwdriver.
2. Remove the battery isolation tab.
3. Press and hold the PAIR button on the sensor.
4. On the wall controller, press the PAIR icon.
5. The blue LED on the sensor will flash rapidly, and the wall controller will display pairing progress.
6. Using a small flathead screwdriver, set the DIP switch on the sensor to 'R'.
7. Press the button on the sensor:
   • When the LED turns blue, the AC turns ON
   • When the LED turns red, the AC turns OFF
8. Verify that the controller displays the AC setpoint temperature, actual AC temperature and induct temperature
9. Refit the sensor cover and mount the sensor on the wall in a central location

Ensure RF sensor control

On the Nexus interface:

• Select Settings → Configuration → Configure Aircon
• Enter the system password: WAMFUD
• Select the ZONES tab
• Change the zone type to OPEN/CLOSE
• Select the AC UNIT tab
• Change the Controlling Sensor setting to RF SENSOR

Nova interface

Pairing sensors

1. Carefully remove the sensor cover using a small flathead screwdriver.
2. Remove the battery isolation tab.
3. Press and hold the PAIR button on the sensor.
4. On the Nova interface
   • Select MENU → Devices → Add Device (+) → Airconditioning → Temperature sensors → Wireless zone temperature sensor
   • Select the AC Unit (not zone)
   • Tap NEXT
   • Tap PAIR
5. The blue LED on the sensor will flash rapidly, and the wall controller will display pairing progress.
6. Using a small flathead screwdriver, set the DIP switch on the sensor to 'R'
7. Return to the home page by tapping HOME
8. Press the button on the sensor:
   • When the LED turns blue, the AC will turn ON
   • When the LED turns red, the AC will turn OFF
9. On the home page, tap on the AC controls (top right). Verify that the page displays AC setpoint temperature, actual AC temperature and induct temperature. Note that it can take up to 2 minutes for the actual temperature to show on this page.
10. Refit the sensor cover and mount the sensor on the wall in a central location

Ensure RF sensor control

On the Nova interface:

• Select MENU → Settings → Installer → Enter installer code. Register as an installer if you don't have an installer code.
• Select MENU → Settings → Select the system under System Settings → AC Unit
• For Control Sensor, choose RF Sensor
