Wireless temperature sensor dropping out

Steps to resolve:

  • Reset the wall control panel to clear any temporary communication issue
  • Switch the power off to the AC unit via the isolator switch next to the outdoor unit, wait 5 minutes, turn it back on.
  • After the reboot completes, check whether the room temperature is stable again
  • Repair the wireless temperature system by pressing and holding the pair button on the wireless control panel for 5 seconds
  • Relocate the sensor closer to the iZone CPU (C225) in the roof to improve signal strength
  • If needed, fit the antenna extension to the C225 and position it closer to the sensor or point it toward the sensor
  • If signal strength is still poor, install the iZone wireless repeater to boost communication between devices
  • If the problem continues after all of the above, replace the wireless temperature sensor as it may be faulty
