Power monitoring

The iZone Wireless Power Monitor (CPMD) is a smart energy monitoring solution that provides real time visibility of electricity usage. It can be connected to the main power supply to monitor total household consumption or to a specific appliance or circuit for targeted energy tracking. The kit includes three CT (current transformer) looms, allowing it to monitor a three‑phase system or three individual circuits independently. Through the iZone Home mobile app, users can view live and historical data to identify energy usage patterns, improve efficiency and reduce power costs.

Energy diversion

The Wireless Power Monitor (CPMD) can also be used for energy diversion, helping maximise the use of solar generation. By connecting the CT clamps to monitor solar output or grid flow, the system can detect when excess solar energy is available and automatically switch appliances such as air conditioning on or off. This allows surplus solar power to be used within the home rather than exported to the grid, improving energy efficiency and reducing electricity costs.

Temperature monitoring (Coming soon)

A standalone Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor (CRFSH) is a battery‑powered device that measures ambient conditions and transmits the data wirelessly to a system like iZone. It can be placed anywhere without wiring, making it ideal for monitoring rooms or specific areas for comfort and control. The sensor can also be used as a trigger for automation (action recipes), allowing the system to respond automatically such as turning on cooling, heating or ventilation based on real‑time temperature or humidity levels.

Open/close monitoring (Coming soon)

A Wireless Reed Switch (CRS) is a simple magnetic sensor used to detect whether an object is open or closed. It consists of two small metal contacts inside a sealed glass tube that open or close when a nearby magnet moves. In a home, reed switches are commonly installed on doors, windows, garage doors, or cabinets, allowing systems like iZone to monitor their status and trigger automation or alerts when they are opened or closed.
