Description
The CRFSW is a wireless temperature sensor for zone-based climate control. Mounted on the wall in each zone, it measures room temperature and allows the zone to be turned on or off by pressing the button. Available in White (CRFSW), Black (CRFSB), and Ocean Mist (CRFSO).
Installation guide
Step-by-step pairing guide
- Mount at approximately 1600mm above floor level
- Keep away from draughts, direct sunlight, and heat-generating equipment
- Supply air must not blow directly onto the sensor
- The CDTS in-duct sensor must be installed before pairing zone sensors
Pairing to C225
- Set the zone selector switch to the correct zone number (1–14)
- Remove the sensor cover using a flathead screwdriver
- Remove the battery tab (new sensors) or verify CR2032 battery is installed
- Press and hold the PAIR button on the sensor
- Simultaneously tap the Pair icon on the wall controller — blue LED flashes rapidly
- Wall controller confirms pairing

Read more
Sensor LED flashing instead of solid
- The sensor has lost pairing — re-pair by pressing and holding the Pair button on the sensor while tapping Pair on the wall controller
- Check the C225 is powered and within RF range (~100m free field)
- Add a CR Wireless Repeater if the sensor is out of reliable range
No temperature reading in app
- Verify the sensor battery is not flat — press the button; if no LEDs light, replace the CR2032
- Confirm the CDTS in-duct sensor is installed and showing a reading in Setup
Firmware history
No firmware — the CRFSW is a battery-powered RF sensor with no embedded software.
