Overview
The CGPO is a smart plug that allows 240V appliances connected to a standard Australian GPO to be controlled through the Nova user interface when paired with a Smart Hub (COCBH). It also features a manual on/off button for local operation.
Installation Guides
Physical Installation
- Remove the smart plug from its packaging.
- Plug the smart plug into a standard Australian GPO.
- Switch the wall outlet on.
- If the smart plug has not previously been paired, the on/off button will flash red to indicate it is ready for pairing.
Pairing with Nova
- Press and hold the Pair button on the side of the smart plug.
- From the Nova user interface, navigate to Menu → Devices → Add Device (+) → Smart Power → Smart Plug.
- Press Pair.
- The LED behind the on/off button will flash blue to indicate the smart plug is pairing.
- Rename the smart plug to something meaningful, such as Coffee Machine, Lamp, or Heater, to make it easier to identify within Nova.

Controlling the Smart Plug
- Plug the appliance you wish to control into the smart plug.
- From the Nova home screen, select Categories.
- Select Switches & Modules.
- Select the smart plug you wish to control.
- From this page you can:
- Turn the connected appliance on or off.
- View the current operating status.
Pinning the Smart Plug
For quicker access, a smart plug can be pinned to the Nova home screen.
- Open Categories → Smart Power.
- Select the smart plug you want to pin.
- Press the Pin icon.
- The smart plug will now appear on the Nova home screen for quick access.
